^9 (A)The land mourns and languishes,
^(B)Lebanon is humiliated and withers;
^(C)Sharon is like a desert plain,
And Bashan and Carmel ^[a]lose their foliage.
¹⁰ “Now ^(D)I will be on high,” says Yahweh,
“Now I will be lifted up, now I will be lifted up.
¹¹ You have ^(E)conceived ^[b]chaff, you will give birth to stubble;
^[c]My ^(F)breath will consume you like a fire.
